Multi-Vehicle Pile-Up Crash on I-5 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 7, 2024) — A car accident happened Monday on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of Van Nuys boulevard in Los Angeles.
The collision involved six or seven vehicles and occurred at 12:41 p.m. on Oct. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Nissan Rogue SUV, a red Honda Civic sedan, a BMW sedan, a Lexus sedan, a Hyundai sedan, a Toyota Echo, and a box truck were possibly involved. The Nissan had major traffic damage and the vehicles were blocking multiple lanes.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help those injured, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash.
