Car Accident on MLK Jr Boulevard, 43rd Ave., in South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif., (April 6, 2026) — A multi-vehicle car accident occurred Monday morning at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard in the South Sacramento area, resulting in minor injuries.
The incident, reported on April 6th at approximately 7:40 a.m., involved a Nissan Altima, a Dodge Caravan, and a Nissan Rogue. Authorities arrived at the scene shortly after the collision was reported. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) initially classified the incident as a more severe traffic collision requiring emergency medical response, but later updated it to a minor injury collision.
Emergency services, including paramedics and tow trucks, were dispatched to the scene. Five Star Towing was notified, and two tow trucks responded to remove the vehicles, which sustained significant front-end damage.
At this time, there was at least one person with injuries, but there are no further details. The CHP continues to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision and is asking any witnesses to come forward to aid in the investigation.
