2-Vehicle Collision on N. Lincoln Street in Ford City
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 12, 2024) — A car accident happened Thursday morning on North Lincoln Street and Birch Street in Ford City.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in front of 200 N. Lincoln at around 11:32 a.m. on Dec. 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Toyota pickup truck and a Toyota RAV4 SUV were involved.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on Lincoln Street in Ford City.
KERN COUNTY STATISTICS
There were more than 6,000 crashes involving injuries or fatalities in Kern County in 2021, according to statistics compiled by the Office of Traffic Safety.
Those collisions included 925 with speed as a factor and 869 involved alcohol, the OTS reported.
