Two Injured in Crash on SR-37 at Lakeville Highway
SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 23, 2022) — Two people were injured in a car accident on State Route Highway 37, just east of Lakeville Highway in the Sonoma County area.
Two vehicles collided about 1:37 p.m. on Sept. 23rd, just north of Sears Point Trailhead, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a gray, 4-door Audi and a white truck are involved in the wreck.
Two people from the Audi suffered injuries in the crash when a pickup truck rear-ended the vehicle in the eastbound lanes of SR-37. Paramedics with Sonoma Valley Fire Department responded and transported one of the injured to Santa Rosa Memorial for complaints of neck and back pain.
Also, the Petaluma Fire Department transported Austin Mark Paulo, 30, to Santa Rosa Memorial after he reported neck and back pain and suffered a leg injury in the collision.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the truck and the Audi from the roadway. The vehicles suffered major front-end and major back-end damage respectively.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
