2-Vehicle Crash on Riverside 91 Freeway
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2023) — A two-vehicle car accident on the Riverside 91 Freeway happened Friday morning, just east of Adams Street in Riverside.
The traffic accident between a car and an SUV occurred at around 8:12 a.m. on Oct. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a red 2020 Jeep Cherokee and a maroon 2011 Honda Accord collided due to unknown circumstances in the HOV and No. 1 lanes of the freeway.
At least one person who was pregnant had complaints of pain after the crash and was transported to Kaiser Riverside for treatment.
Meanwhile, both vehicles were towed from the freeway due to damage.
The cause of the accident on the Riverside 91 Freeway, as well as liability, remain under investigation.
