1 Hospitalized After Collision on 80 Freeway at 4th Street Saturday
San Francisco, CA (September 28, 2021) – A traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 80 Freeway resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated a motorcycle rider collided with a sedan in the eastbound side of the freeway. The crash took place on September 25, Saturday.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m., emergency crews arrived on the part of the interstate near the 4th Street offramp. First responders found the motorbike down in the middle of the roadway; while the rider was on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway. Paramedics at the scene rendered aid to the motorcyclist, who apparently complained of pain to their legs.
The CHP log mentioned medical personnel decided to transport the patient to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment. Authorities continue to withhold personal information on the victim pending confirmation.
No immediate information was available on the driver of the sedan involved in the mishap.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the accident on Interstate 80.
