2 Injured in Harbor Gateway Crash on Northbound 405 Freeway
LOS ANGELES (December 31, 2019) – Two were injured, one critically, after a traffic collision along the Interstate 405 Freeway Tuesday night.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received a call about the accident at around 9:19 p.m. in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood of the city.
According to a report posted online by the department, multiple vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the northbound lanes of the 405 Freeway.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was found pinned in the wreckage as a result of the crash.
The rescued individual was rushed to the hospital and listed in critical condition. Medical personnel also transported another patient with non-life-threatening injuries.
The names and condition of the wounded parties at this time were not available. Meanwhile, officers did not specify the total number of the cars involved in the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
