1 Seriously Injured in Buena Vista Hills Crash Near Taft
KERN COUNTY, CA (June 9, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash in Buena Vista Hills near Taft.
According to an article published by the Kern Golden Empire, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 6:36 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said at least two vehicles collided in the area of Buena Vista Hills. They crashed for an unknown reason northwest of Taft in Kern County.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then extricated a trapped occupant from the wreckage. One person sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon took one patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, authorities are still determining if alcohol, drugs or speed played a role in the Buena Vista Hills crash. The investigation is ongoing.
