Child, Woman Hospitalized After Collision on Highway 94
Lemon Grove, CA (January 22, 2023) – Two people, including a child, suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on State Route Highway 94 Sunday, January 22.
The 911 News reported two vehicles crashed into each other in the eastbound side of the highway near College Avenue. Our sources indicated a white Acura Integra rolled over during the collision, and came to a rest flipped on its side. First responders found a woman trapped in the mangled car.
Authorities added the Acura Integra was also occupied by a male party, and a small child. Both parties manage to get out of the overturned car before rescue teams arrived.
Major Car Accident in Lemon Grove
Shortly after 1:02 a.m., medical personnel responded to the accident scene. Paramedics rendered aid to the woman extricated from the car, and the small child. Subsequently, an ambulance transported the two injured parties to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Highway 94 in Lemon Grove.
