1 Injured After Car Crashed Into Bakersfield Business on 23rd Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 13, 2021) – One was badly injured after a car crashed into a business on 23rd Street in Bakersfield.
According to an article published by the Kern Golden Empire, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3:45 p.m.
Bakersfield police said the car traveling at an unsafe speed plowed through a wall of a business. The vehicle then struck one person inside the business located at 2130 23rd Street.
Speeding Driver Plows Into Business
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officials took the driver who complained of minor pain following the accident. Police believed that speed played a role in the wreck.
Officers forced the business to close for a time after the Bakersfield car crash. The collision is still under investigation.
