Woman Hospitalized After Accident at 10th Street and Cherry Avenue
Long Beach, CA (June 7, 2023) – One person suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred in the area of 10th Street and Cherry Avenue Tuesday evening, May 30, the Long Beach Post News reported.
Officials said a vehicle drove out of a parking lot and plowed through a sidewalk near the intersection of 10th and Cherry. According to the article published online, the car continued ahead and crashed into the bus stop.
Major Car Crash in Long Beach
Shortly after 8:40 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location and found an innocent woman hit and pinned by the vehicle. Responding personnel from the Long Beach Fire Department worked extensively to free the victim. After the woman was extricated, paramedics rendered first aid then transferred her to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the driver involved in the collision apparently stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the car accident that happened at 10th Street and Cherry Avenue in Long Beach.
