8 Injured After Car Crashed Into Clinic at Anaheim and Sycamore
ANAHEIM, CA (January 22, 2023) – Several were hospitalized after a car crashed into a clinic at Anaheim Boulevard and Sycamore Street in the city.
According to an article published by The Orange County Register, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on January 22 at around 1 p.m.
Police said the incident began when a driver, traveling north on Anaheim Boulevard, lost control of their vehicle for an unknown reason.
Driver Plows Into Clinica Mi Pueblo
The car then plowed into the lobby of the Clinica Mi Pueblo on the corner of East Sycamore Street. Paramedics arrived at the scene and found a total of eight people hurt.
One victim sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. The other seven individuals survived the incident with minor to moderate injuries.
Medical personnel rushed all patients to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police forced the clinic to close and the area of Anaheim and Sycamore to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the car crash is still under investigation.
