Man, Woman Injured as Car Crashes into Home in El Cajon
EL CAJON, Calif. (Nov. 12, 2024) — A couple sleeping in their bedroom got a rude awakening when a car crashed into their home on Jamacha Road early Tuesday morning in El Cajon.
The solo-vehicle crash occurred near Valhalla High School around 2:15 a.m. on Nov. 12th, according to the Times of San Diego.
A 26-year-old El Cajon man driving along Jamacha Road went off the roadway and crashed into the couple’s bedroom.
Paramedics responded and transported the man and woman to a hospital with minor to serious injuries from the crash.
It’s unknown what led up to the crash, but the driver passed a field sobriety test and was unharmed in the collision.
The El Cajon Police Department responded and is handling the investigation.
