5 Injured After Car Crashed Into Natomas Ross Store on Truxel Road
NATOMAS, CA (November 13, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crashed into a Natomas Ross store along Truxel Road.
According to the ABC 10 News and CBS Sacramento, the accident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck on November 13 shortly before 9 p.m.
Police said a gold-colored Jeep Liberty plowed into the department store in Natomas. The car drove through the front doors of the building in the 3700 block of Truxel Road.
DUI Driver Plows Into Business
Firefighters arrived at the scene and found a total of five people hurt. One sustained significant injuries while the others obtained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Paramedics then rushed all five patients to the hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded victims and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police determined that the man driving the Jeep was under the influence when she hit the Natomas store. They soon arrested him for felony DUI.
Officers forced the store along Truxel Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
