4 Injured After Car Crashed Into Subway Restaurant in Desert Hot Springs
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (July 7, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crashed into a Subway restaurant in Desert Hot Springs.
According to an article published by the KESQ News, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 8 a.m.
The incident happened when for an unknown reason, the car crashed into the Subway restaurant. The area is at 14212 Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs.
Driver Plows Into Business
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of four people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One person sustained serious injuries and the other three survived with minor injuries. Medical personnel then rushed the patients to hospitals for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. It confirmed that three victims were inside the restaurant at the time while the fourth was the driver.
Officers shut down a stretch of Palm Drive near the restaurant to clear the site. The cause of the Desert Hot Springs car crash is still under investigation.
