Car Overturns in Crash with Semi-Truck on the Pomona 60 Freeway

POMONA, Calif. (October 12, 2026) — A white Honda Accord overturned in a crash with a semi-truck Monday on the Pomona 60 Freeway near Reservoir Street in Pomona, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported on Oct. 12th at approximately 3:48 a.m., with the white vehicle overturned in the westbound slow lane.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and someone requested a tow truck at approximately 3:49 a.m. Authorities later reported that those injured in the crash were transported to Chino Hospital by Pomona Valley emergency personnel.

The collision prompted temporary lane restrictions as crews worked at the scene. By approximately 4:32 a.m., CHP reported that the first three lanes were open, while additional lanes remained temporarily closed. The roadway was reported clear at 4:47 a.m.

The number of people injured and the extent of their injuries were not specified in the available incident logs. The cause of the collision has not been confirmed.
