3 Injured in Car Crash on I-10 Freeway
Banning, CA (June 14, 2022) – Multiple people suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway.
Car Lands on Tent in Banning Homeless Camp
According to KESQ News, at least one tire of a black Mustang blew out while traveling on the freeway in Banning. Earlier reports indicated the driver of the Mustang lost control of their car and ended up crashing into a silver pickup truck. Due to the force from the impact, the pickup truck rolled over and plowed through a fence along the freeway. The car landed on a tent at a homeless encampment.
The collision took place at approximately 8:30 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they immediately attended to all parties involved in the wreck. The article published online later confirmed as many as three people from the encampment sustained injuries as a result of the accident. Authorities continue to withhold personal information on the victims pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. Further investigation is ongoing on the traffic crash that happened on Interstate 10 in Banning.
