6 Injured After Car Crashes Into Goodwill Store on Imperial Highway
DATE OF ACCIDENT: Tuesday, October 9th
October 9, 2018 – Injuries were reported after a car plowed into a thrift shop on E. Imperial Highway Tuesday afternoon, according to ABC News.
The accident happened at about 4:12 p.m. in the 1101 E. Imperial Highway.
Primary reports indicated 88-year-old woman lost control of her white Chevrolet Suburban and crashed into a Chevrolet Yukon parked in front of the Goodwill store.
The impact reportedly forced both vehicles to plow into the thrift shop.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to several parties who appeared to be injured in the accident. As per the article, at least six unidentified people suffered minor to moderate injuries in the crash.
The names of the victims, and their conditions at this time have not been disclosed thus far.
Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the accident.
