At Least 1 Injured After Car Crashes Into Rancho San Diego Bank
LOCATION: Rancho San Diego, San Diego County
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, September 10th
September 13, 2018 – A car plowed into a Rancho San Diego bank Monday morning along Jamacha Road, according to ABC News.
Emergency crews responded in the 2900 block of Jamacha Road and found a car slammed into the front of a Bank of America branch.
Authorities said a female customer was using an ATM stationed just beyond the glass front door of the bank when the crash happened. That woman reportedly jumped out of the way as the car came crashing through the doors and glass windows. As per the article, the woman suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
Officials did not immediately confirm who was inside and if anyone from the car was harmed in the crash.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine what precisely triggered the accident.
