At Least 2 Injured After Car Crashes Into AC4 Fitness Gym Along La Cumbre Plaza Lane

September 20, 2018 – Injuries were reported after a car crashed into the AC4 Fitness gym in Santa Barbara Wednesday morning, according to a local news source.
Car Plows Into Santa Barbara Gym on Wednesday
Officials said a woman driving a car in the area veered off the road for unknown reasons and ended up plowing into the gym in the 3883 block of La Cumbre Plaza Lane.
Shortly after 7 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the accident scene and found at least two people hurt. As per the article, a male party inside the building apparently fell over when the car drove through the front window into the workout area of the gym. The name of that man, and his condition at this time have not been disclosed thus far.
Authorities confirmed the second victim was the female driver. The woman was reportedly taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly what happened here and why.
