CARDIFF, California (July 21, 2016) — At least one person was injured Thursday morning in a collision involving four drivers on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway at Birmingham Drive, a California Highway Patrol report said.
One person reportedly suffered a broken arm in the 11:24 a.m. crash involving a white Jeep, a white pickup truck, a tank pickup truck and a gray 4-door Honda, the CHP report said.
Paramedics were sent to the scene to help those who were hurt and to clear laves of vehicles that were blocking the No. 1 lane.
A tow truck removed the white Jeep as it suffered major front-end damage. A second vehicle was also towed from the scene as it was not drivable.
