Coroner ID’d Carl Randolph of Sacramento as Victim Killed in Crash
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Jan. 3, 2019) — Carl Randolph, 29, of Sacramento, was killed in a collision Tuesday on Highway 50.
The young man died in a rollover crash on westbound Highway 50 that also injured his passenger.
Paramedics and firefighters with the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded to the 5 p.m. collision, just east of Watt Avenue.
Upon their arrival, firefighter crews extricated at least one person trapped inside the vehicle, authorities said.
The passenger was transported to a hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The collision is under investigation by police to determine liability.
