Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle on West 39th Street Sunday
Los Angeles, CA (October 6, 2021) – Carla Cain, a 46-year-old woman, died following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on West 39th Street.
On October 3, Sunday, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian in the 1500 block of West 39th Street. The catastrophic incident took place at about 2:45 a.m.

According to My News LA, the accident resulted in serious injuries to the victim. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the injured woman but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified the deceased as Carla Cain.
The article published online mentioned the driver involved in the horrible crash fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the fatal hit-and-run crash in Los Angeles.
