Carlos Javier Ayala, 27, Killed in Jurupa Valley Hit-and-Run Crash
JURUPA VALLEY (April 30, 2018) – A fatal traffic collision occurred in the area of 28th Street and Rubidoux Boulevard on Saturday afternoon, April 28, according to The Press Enterprise.
The accident took place at about 5:18 p.m.
As per the article, Riverside County Coroner’s Office said a red Honda Civic was going south on Rubidoux when for an unknown reason it collided with the rear driver’s side of a black Honda Civic that was headed south at the time.

The black Honda spun, continued across the northbound lanes before slamming into a concrete barrier. Its driver was ejected in the process and died at the scene. The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Carlos Javier Ayala, of Hemet. A family member named the victim as Carlos Alvarado.
Meanwhile, firefighters attended to two other people injured following the crash. One of them was extricated from the wreckage ad suffered major injuries upon impact. The second patient survived with minor wounds.
Both were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Their names and condition at this time were not released.
Authorities deemed the incident as a hit-and-run. The investigation is ongoing.
