Carlos Hill Jr. Hit-and-Run Suspect in Deadly Car Accident on Lincoln Boulevard
Oroville, CA (April 30, 2021) – Police arrested 19-year-old Carlos Hill Jr. in relation with a fatal traffic collision on Lincoln Boulevard, the Action News Now reported.
On April 29, Thursday, officials said a street race between two cars occurred on Lincoln north of Baggett-Marysville Road. Officials identified the vehicles involved in the illegal speeding contest as a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Chevrolet Camaro.

When the race approached the Oroville intersection, the Jeep rolled over multiple times. Preliminary investigation revealed three occupants from the Jeep sadly died as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, authorities confirmed the Chevrolet fled the scene before police arrived. Officers identified the Chevrolet driver as Carlos Hill Jr.
Investigators later located the suspect. Subsequently, they arrested Carlos Hill Jr. According to the article published online, the felon will face multiple charges including three vehicular manslaughter charges; a hit and run death and injury charge; and another for reckless driving.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
