Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle Near Spencer Avenue Offramp
Sausalito, CA (August 31, 2022) – Carlos Rios, a 41-year-old man, died following pedestrian accident that occurred on Highway 101.
The KRON4 News reported a vehicle struck an individual in the southbound side of the highway near Spencer Avenue offramp. Our sources indicated the collision took place Tuesday around 4:52 a.m.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 in Sausalito
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a person lying on the ground. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. The Marin County Coroner’s office identified the deceased as Carlos Rios, of Vallejo.
Officials mentioned the driver involved in the catastrophic incident stayed at the site. The motorist cooperated with the investigation process.
At this time, detectives continue to work to determine liability in the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on Highway 101 in Sausalito.
