Man Hit and Killed by Multiple Vehicle on Interstate 5 Freeway Thursday
Carmel Valley, CA (September 9, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway Thursday morning.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, a vehicle struck the male party in the northbound side of the interstate. Primary reports indicated the horrible crash took place near State Route Highway 56 in Carmel Valley.
The article published online mentioned oncoming vehicle failed to avoid the body lying on the ground. As a result, multiple other cars run over the victim.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Carmel Valley, September 9
Shortly after 12:15 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the pedestrian died at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
It remained unclear at this time how many vehicles hit the man. Further investigation on the deadly pedestrian accident in Carmel Valley is underway.
