Bicycle Rider Seriously Injured in Carmichael Crash on San Lorenzo Way
CARMICHAEL, CA (November 21, 2021) – A bicycle rider was seriously injured after a crash on San Lorenzo in Carmichael.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the incident at about 10:40 a.m.
CHP determined that a vehicle struck the bicycle rider in Carmichael. The driver hit the cyclist for an unknown reason at 2850 San Lorenzo Way near Palm Drive.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Meadow Trail. They found the bicyclist who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the rider. Officers forced a stretch of San Lorenzo Way to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Carmichael bicycle crash is still under investigation.
