1 Injured in Carmichael Crash at Marconi and Root Avenues
CARMICHAEL, CA (January 10, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Marconi Avenue and Root Avenue in Carmichael.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the accident at about 6 a.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Carmichael. They crashed at the intersection of Marconi and Root avenues.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a black Honda Civic and a black Dodge pickup truck. The Honda obtained front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Grocery Outlet. They found one person who sustained minor to moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to the Kaiser North Sacramento for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Marconi and Root avenues to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Carmichael crash is still under investigation.
