1 Seriously Injured in Carmichael Car Crash at Madison and Dewey
CARMICHAEL, CA (February 22, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Madison Avenue and Dewey Drive in Carmichael.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the incident occurred on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:16 p.m.
At least three vehicles collided for an unknown reason on westbound Madison Avenue. They crashed at the intersection with Dewey Drive in Carmichael.
Multi-Car Collision in Carmichael Monday
CHP described the cars involved as a Ford F-150, a Chevrolet and a Dodge. The Chevrolet and the Dodge sustained major front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene. They found one individual who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to the hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, officers forced Madison Avenue and Dewey Drive to close following the crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
