4 Injured in Carmichael Crash Near Madison and Hackberry
CARMICHAEL, CA (April 6, 2023) – Several were injured after a car crash near Madison Avenue and Hackberry Lane in Carmichael.
According to the FOX 40 News and KCRA News, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck on April 6 at around 8 a.m.
The incident happened when four cars collided for an unknown reason in Carmichael. The vehicles crashed near the intersection of Madison Avenue and Hackberry Lane.
Multiple Cars Collide
Two occupants became trapped inside their cars upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed them from the wreckage.
A total of four people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Two victims obtained critical injuries while the other two survived the accident with minor injuries.
Medical personnel then rushed three of the patients to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the eastbound Madison Avenue to shut down near Hackberry following the wreck. The cause of the Carmichael crash is still under investigation.
