1 Injured in Carmichael Crash at Walnut Avenue and El Camino Avenue
CARMICHAEL, CA (June 29, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Walnut Avenue and El Camino Avenue in Carmichael.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:26 pm.
CHP said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Carmichael. They crashed at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and El Camino Avenue.
2 Cars Collide Near Cardinal Oaks Park
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Cardinal Oaks Park. They found one person who complained of pain to their ribs as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Walnut Avenue and El Camino Avenue to shut down following the collision. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Carmichael crash.
