2-Vehicle Collision at Carmichael Intersection
CARMICHAEL, Calif. (Jan. 23, 2025) — A two-vehicle crash in Carmicahel happened Thursday morning at Winding Way and Garfield Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 5:48 a.m. on Jan. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Honda and a white Nissan SUV were involved. Police were alerted to the crash by a person who heard the crash and called 911 while walking their dog. Also, another person witnessed the collision and called police dispatchers to report it.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision between the motorists, but it appears at least one person suffered injuries and needed help. Common injuries from traffic accidents include whiplash, back pain, concussion, and fractures, said Attorney James Johnson.
“It’s important to seek immediate medical care if you were hurt in a traffic accident,” Johnson said. “Any delays in treatment can lead to potentially permanent injuries.”
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the intersection.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Winding Way in Carmichael.
