Motorcyclist Seriously Injured Carmichael Crash at Manzanita and Windmill
CARMICHAEL, CA (May 18, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Manzanita Avenue and Windmill Way in Carmichael.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:07 a.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and light colored Kia collided for an unknown reason in Carmichael. The two crashed at the intersection of Manzanita Avenue and Windmill Way.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Winding Way. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Manzanita and Windmill to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Carmichael crash is still under investigation.
