Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Carmichael Crash at Cypress Avenue and Stillmeadow Way
CARMICHAEL, CA (December 11, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Cypress Avenue and Stillmeadow Way in Carmichael.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 9:30 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and a silver Toyota Prius collided in Carmichael. For an unknown reason, the two crashed at the intersection of Cypress Avenue and Stillmeadow Way.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near the Gibbons Community Park. They found the rider down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the Carmichael crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Cypress Avenue and Stillmeadow Way to shut down after the collision.
