Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Carmichael Crash at Fair Oaks and North Avenue
CARMICHAEL, CA (December 7, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Fair Oaks Boulevard and North Avenue in Carmichael.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:41 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and a sedan collided for an unknown reason in Carmichael. The two crashed at the intersection of Fair Oaks Boulevard and North Avenue.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near the Carmichael Park. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stayed at the site following the wreck. The cause of the Carmichael crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Fair Oaks Boulevard and North Avenue to shut down after the collision.
