3 Injured in Carmichael Crash at Manzanita and Coyle Avenues
CARMICHAEL, CA (September 15, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a crash at Manzanita Avenue and Coyle Avenue in Carmichael.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch first logged the incident on Wednesday night. Officers reported the accident at about 9:39 p.m.
According to CHP, a white van and a motorcycle collided for an unknown reason in Carmichael. The two crashed at the intersection of Manzanita and Coyle avenues.
Motorcycle and Van Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Eugene H. Ahner Park. They found a total of three people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took all three patients to the Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment. They sustained minor to moderate injuries upon impact.
Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Manzanita and Coyle avenues to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Carmichael crash is still under investigation.
