Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Carmichael Crash on Winding Way
CARMICHAEL, CA (November 3, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Winding Way in Carmichael.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place late Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 5:34 p.m.
CHP said an Isuzu box truck and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at 5740 Winding Way near Windmill Way in Carmichael.
Motorcycle and Truck Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Valero gas station. They found the motorcyclist alert and conscious as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of a serious injury to their left foot. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the truck ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced a stretch of Winding Way to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Carmichael crash is still under investigation.
