Carol Singer, 76, Killed in West Hills Crash on Woolsey Canyon Road

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 16, 2022) – Carol Singer was killed after a DUI crash on Woolsey Canyon Road in West Hills.

The coroner’s office identified the 76-year-old West Hills woman as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Saturday.

The incident happened when Carol Singer was a 2003 Nissan on Woolsey Canyon Road in the West Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.

A 2021 Porsche crossed over the double yellow line into the path of the Nissan. The driver of the Porsche, Nohemi Harrison, then slammed head-on into the other car.

Nohemi Harrison, 57, Arrested For DUI

The California Highway Patrol said the two cars crashed at 24045 Woolsey Canyon Road near Valley Circle Boulevard. Carol Singer ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the crash.

Paramedics rushed her to the Northridge Hospital, where she died. The Daily News and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on March 12 at about 6:15 a.m.

Medical personnel took Nohemi Harrison to the West Hills Hospital with unknown injuries. CHP determined that the 57-year-old West Hills woman was under the influence when she struck the victim.

Officers soon arrested Nohemi Harrison for DUI. The West Hills DUI crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call the CHP at 818-888-0980, or 323-259-3200.
