At Least 1 Hurt After Traffic Collision on Highway 101 Monday
Carpenteria, CA (February 15, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident that occurred on U.S. Route 101 Monday morning.
Initial records indicated a semi truck and a passenger vehicle collided in the northbound side of Highway 101 near Padaro Lane. The force from the impact caused the truck to veer off the roadway.
Officials later described the car involved in the wreck as a black KIA Forte.
CHP logged the accident at about 4:05 a.m.

Per dispatch, the collision resulted in major injuries. At the moment, the name of the injured parties and their conditions remained undisclosed.
Additional details on the wreck have not been revealed thus far. Given that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the exact cause of the car and truck accident in Carpenteria.
