Auto vs. Bike Collision Near Bailard Avenue
Carpinteria, CA (April 19, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 101 Saturday, April 15.
Our sources indicated a vehicle struck a person riding a bike in the northbound side of the highway near Bailard Avenue offramp. Officials later described the automobile involved in the wreck as a blue Ford F15.
CHP logged the case shortly after 9:36 p.m.
At Least 1 Hurt in Carpinteria Crash
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. The accident dispatch confirmed at least one person sustained injuries in the collision. However, the name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the traffic accident that happened on State Route Highway 101 in Carpinteria.
