3 Injured in Carpinteria Crash on Via Real Near Polo Club
CARPINTERIA, CA (August 15, 2022) – Several were injured after a head-on crash on Via Real near a polo club in Carpinteria.
According to an article published by the Noozhawk, the accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 6:30 p.m.
The incident happened on August 14 when two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason. They crashed on Via Real near the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club in Carpinteria.
2 Cars Collide
Both cars obtained major front-end damage due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found a total of three people who ended up hurt as a result the accident. One patient sustained moderate injuries while the other two survived with minor injuries.
Medical personnel then rushed the badly injured victim to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment. The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Via Real to shut down near the polo club following the wreck. The cause of the Carpinteria crash is still under investigation.
