
Motorcyclist Injured in Caruthers Crash at Highway 41 and Elkhorn Avenue
CARUTHERS, CA (February 5, 2023) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash at Highway 41 and Elkhorn Avenue near Caruthers.
According to an article published by The Fresno Bee, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on February 5 shortly before 3 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a motorcycle rider and a car collided for an unknown reason near Caruthers in Fresno County. The two crashed on Highway 41 at the intersection with Elkhorn Avenue.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car stopped and stayed at the site following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Highway 41 and Elkhorn Avenue to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Caruthers crash is still under investigation.
