Cassandra Nicholas, 28, Killed in Motorcycle Crash at Highway 14 and Sierra Highway
DATE OF ACCIDENT: Saturday, December 15th
December 17, 2018 – A 28-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 14 Saturday evening, according to KGET News.
Preliminary investigation revealed Cassandra Ashley Nicholas was the passenger of a Suzuki motorcycle that was spotted going over 100 mph headed southbound on the highway.
For reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle reportedly crashed at the intersection of Highway 14 and Sierra Highway.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident Saturday in Mojave
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., emergency personnel arrived at the location and immediately checked on the parties involved. As per the article, the female passenger, later identified as Nicholas, suffered fatal trauma as a result of the impact. The woman was sadly pronounced dead at the location.
Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol group identified the motorcycle operator as 40-year-old Steve C. Bruse. The man apparently suffered major injuries and was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital.
At this time, the precise cause of the deadly crash is still being investigated.
