4-Vehicle Castaic Crash Interstate 5 Freeway
CASTAIC, Calif. (Nov. 25, 2020) — At least one person was hurt Wednesday in a multi-vehicle crash on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway in Castaic.
The collision was reported at 11:03 a.m. on Nov. 25th near Lake Hughes Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported as many as four vehicles were involved. A red Ford Mustang had major front-end damage. Also, a Toyota Prius sustained both front and rear major damage. It’s unknown what led up to the collision.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those who were injured, but there were no further details. The vehicles collided in the fast lane of the freeway.
Meanwhile, at least two of the vehicles were towed from the scene. No further information was provided about the collision.
CHP officers are reviewing evidence and will determine fault for the Castaic crash. Witnesses may contact authorities and reference incident number 01106.
