2-Vehicle Collision Near Gliddon Street Wednesday
Castro Valley, CA (January 19, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Heyer Avenue Wednesday evening.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided in the 5034 block of Heyer Avenue. Initial records indicated the car accident took place near the intersection at Gliddon Street.
CHP logged the case at about 8:19 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a gray Acura with a broken left front axle. The description of the other car involved in the wreck have not been discussed thus far.
Medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims in the crash. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma as a result of the accident. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening to investigate exactly how and why the collision on Heyer Avenue in Castro Valley happened.
