Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Castro Valley Crash Near Cull Canyon and Heyer
CASTRO VALLEY (May 26, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a traffic collision in the area of Cull Canyon Road and Heyer Avenue on Monday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on May 25 at around 3:38 p.m. It happened near the Bay Trees Park.
Officers said the male motorcycle rider and a white Chevrolet Impala collided for an unknown reason near the intersection of Cull Canyon Road and Heyer Avenue.

According to the online dispatch, the motorcyclist ended up lying in the bicycle lane and suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and took the patient to the hospital for treatment. The name and condition of the victim at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, the report log did not mention if the driver of the Chevrolet was hurt or if the motorist stopped following the wreck.
Officers briefly blocked the northbound lanes due to the incident and reopened the roadway after nearly an hour. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
