Pedestrian Under Vehicle in Crash on Anita Avenue
CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. (July 26, 2024) — A pedestrian riding a bike was injured Friday morning on Anita Avenue near Castro Valley Boulevard in Castro Valley, California.
The traffic accident occurred at around 10:29AM on Friday July 26, 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A grey pickup truck hit a pedestrian riding their bicycle on Anita Avenue in Castro Valley California. CHP reported the pedestrian who was hit, to be under the vehicle. It is unknown the condition of the pedestrian but it was reported that the pedestrian had minor injuries. The accident ended up blocking the Eastbound lanes of the roadway on Anita Avenue near Castro Valley Boulevard.
Paramedics were called on the scene and responded and located those with injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the pedestrian bike accident on Anita Avenue near Castro Valley Boulevard.
