Motorcycle Rider Killed in Torrance Crash
TORRANCE, California (August 28, 2017) — A motorcyclist died Sunday night in a collision with a vehicle at Hawthorne Boulevard and Halison Street, according to a report by the Torrance Police Department.
The fatal crash took place about 9:13 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Hawthorne Boulevard. The rider died of his injuries at the scene of the crash.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability, but preliminary results indicate that drugs and or alcohol were not factors.
