Colton Pedestrian Accident Investigation
Police are heading up an investigation to determine who is at fault for this fatality. The intersection where this collision took place is controlled by a traffic light and there is a crosswalk. However, there are many unanswered questions about what took place Saturday night such as was the pedestrian in the marked crosswalk, was the intersection’s traffic lights operating correctly and did the parties involved obey their signals? Was the motorist obeying all traffic laws? It’s unclear at this time whether alcohol or speeding were factors. It’s important that justice is served and full compensation is awarded to a victim or their surviving family members.
